Vision For This Project
5 years ago Oceans Church was born with one mission, to connect people to Jesus. Today, Oceans is growing rapidly and to make space for new comers, new families, and new believers. Michael and Jaime shared their vision on the future of Oceans Church. “Creating a fun, safe, spacious, and clean space for our kids to come and learn about Jesus.” Moving from 1,300sqft to 7,000sqft. Oceans Kids now has triple the space to learn about Jesus than ever before. That’s phase 1.
Phase 2 is to double our current sanctuary space. Currently Oceans tightly fits 230 seats in our current auditorium and not to mention the infamous pole that separates the congregation from the stage. This next phase of the Heart For The House brings double the auditorium space. Take us from 230 seats, to a comfortable 400. The completion of this project will bring many new faces and ample room for growth as we welcome the people and connect them through Jesus using the art of worship and biblically sound teachings.

Oceans Church hosted our first service in our new sanctuary space. Allowing us to comfortably seat 400 people. Across three services, we hosted 1,900 people in our one space!

Our sanctuary flip was completed and we hosted 1,900 people on Easter weekend.
March 29th, 2026
Oceans hosted our last services in our old sanctuary and in 5 days flipped the entire room around to prepare for Easter weekend.

The remainder of the back wall of the sanctuary was fully removed.
February 1st, 2026
Renovation began as we demolished half of the back wall of the sanctuary, turning the lobby and sanctuary into a temporary multi-space.
