MICHAEL JANETIS
CO-FOUNDER / LEAD PASTOR
Michael Janetis is the Co-Founder and Lead Pastor of Oceans Church. Michael was born in Long Island, NY and was raised on the East Coast. He along with his wife Jaime has been serving the local church over the last 20 years as worship pastors, as well as pastoral care. Michael leads with a father’s heart and has a passion to see a fatherless generation come to the knowledge of their brilliant value through their true identity as children of God. He loves using humor and creativity to communicate the gospel message and is highly invested in the arts as a singer / songwriter / jewelry designer. His heart is to foster a worship community that will celebrate and empower artists to rise in their craft to honor God. Michael feels that the greatest mission statement that the church could have is the one that Jesus assigned us with from the very beginning and that is to create disciples / followers of Christ and empower them to do the work of the ministry.
JAIME JANETIS
CO-FOUNDER / Pastor
Jaime Janetis is a native of the Emerald Coast. Growing up in Panama City, FL, she felt a call to ministry at a young age. After graduating high school, she continued to follow God's leading into ministry attending Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Florida. Jaime and Michael met shortly after college and were married in September of 1999. They have 3 beautiful children, Alexander, Alison, & Kalliope. Jaime has a heart to inspire and empower women of all ages to walk in the calling and purpose God has created them for and help them to understand their true worth in Christ and what it means to live an authentic, Spirit-led life.
